The Chadwick
We thought we would share some pictures of the Bed and Breakfast that we are staying in. It is has been a remarkable place. Everything about it has been wonderful. The rooms, the yard, the food is incredible! What great place, you really feel at home from the beginning. I have to say thought that what truly makes this place is the innkeeper, Buddy. He is phenomenal!
Wednesday in Maine
Hey guys sorry we didn't blog last night, we were exhausted! We spent the day in South Portland! We went to a park, Cape Elizabeth, and then Portland Headlight. It was a really hot day so we were exhausted! Anyway we had a great day and saw some beautiful things here! We have had an excellent time here! Sad to say that we have to leave tomorrow! Where does time go? Anyway, yesterday was beautiful. It was hot, but beautiful. Josh made the sacrifice of eating a not so yummy burger so I could have a delicous Lobster roll. We ate it outside overlooking the ocean it was lovely!

A day at the Beach
Today we spent the day at the Beach! It was foggy, but fun. Imagine the coldest glass of ice water you can think of and then putting your toe in it, That's exactly what the water felt like. It was only in the 70s outside and the water was in the 60s! Brrh! We are sure that Topsails water will feel much nicer when we go there next week! We drove up the coast which was nice and then we ate lunch, which happened to be right next to a Goodwill. (so you know what we did next!) Anyway the fog had come in so much that we couldn't go and see the lighthouse today, but we will tomorrow! Its out for a woodfired pizza tonight! Love you all! ( The second picture is after the fog really rolled in and the third is before!)

It's a Maine thing!
We are here! Our Bed and Breakfast is beautiful! We got here last night and were pretty tired from our trips to Boston and PA. We walked about 1.5 miles last night to dinner and back we had Thai food at a cute little restaurant, we even had the red bean ice cream, which is ice cream made out of you guessed it Kidney Beans( red bean) it was Delicious! Anyway we came back and went straight to bed. When we got up this morning we had a Delicious breakfast made for us to our specifications by Buddy, who is a terrific guy! He is definitely the hostess with the mostess! Once we finally got out today we went to downtown Portland, ME we had lunch and took the ferry to Peaks Island it was beautiful. We walked so much that we now feel as if we can barely move! When we got back to Portland we ate Greek food for dinner and then came back to the Chadwick. We laid back in the Hammock together and ate cookies that Buddy had made and just enjoyed the nice evening! We are having a great time! Love you all!

Boston
Well we made it to Boston on Saturday and spent most of the day Sunday there. It really is a nice city. We got lost on the way out which was fun of course only after we were no longer lost! Anyway, Boston is a beautiful city its kind of like New York, just with out all the hecticness. While we there we had lunch in the Cheers restaurant/bar where the show was filmed and that was lot of fun! We almost walked a great deal of the city.

on the way
Well we left yesterday for PA. We made it to Hershey, PA by about 4:30 and went on the chocolate factory We had fun, but we were a little tired. While on the way we drove through a monsoon rain storm that lasted for hours and at least 100 miles it was crazy! Anyway we then left Hershey and when to Hazleton, Pa. We met my old friend Stephanie and her family for dinner and swimming in the hotel pool. Her littlest one(pictured) warmed up the fasted and before the night was over had given me enough "rasberries" or as we call them "zerberts" to last a lifetime. Any way we had a good time. We left PA this morning and drove through New York and Conneticut to get to Mass which is where we are now. Tired, but excited for our adventures in Boston tomorrow, and then its Portland or bust! We are having so much fun just being together and getting away. We will keep you updated on our journey!
Love ya!

Closing went faster than we expected it is great when God just opens doors and processes go so smoothly. We truly have been blessed with our new home and want to thank every one who helped to get us here along the way!

counting down the days
Well this is the week! It is hard to believe that we are down to only THREE days left. We are almost all packed up at the town house. We have a little more to go, but we are getting there. We are very excited about moving into our new home. We plan to stay there Friday in sleeping bags... Should be lots of fun! We also can't wait to start painting all of the walls and make it OUR home. God truly has blessed us in this past year and we are so thankful for all that he has given us! We are also coming up on our month-o-versary. We will be married 10 months next week. Time is really flying by... we are very happy and feel as if God has really blessed us with each other. (Josh made me post the picture of me I really didn't want to) I am compromising....:)

Inspection Day
The house inspection went really good. The inspectors mainly talked about the need of putting gutters on so water would flow away from the foundation better. Other than that there were minor things like a tack here or a nail there. So here are a few more pics from today to enjoy. We only have 10 more days until the closing on the house. :)
