Baby Cruz's Nursery- day two

Today has been day two of my nursery painting adventure. I have worked on the same wall as yesterday. I will be spending the rest of the day drawing on the walls to prep for painting the rest of this week. I am so thankful that of all the talents that God could have given me that he gave me the ability to create. As I am painting I think about how I am creating this room for our child with the gifts he gave me. I can't help but to think about how wonderful he must of felt as he created the earth for us, his children. Thank you Lord for all your many, many blessings!

Baby Cruz's Nursery- day one

Today was my first official day working in the baby's nursery. I am always amazed at how fast time can fly by when you are painting. I am so thankful that God has blessed me with the talents that he has. I am also very thankful that I can paint this room for our child. I have painted so many nurseries, but this is different. I didn't get as much done as I had hoped to, but at least I have been able to start. :) I hope that this room is a peaceful pleasant place for our baby to grow and learn!

Fence Part 3: Finshing The Planks

So we finished the planks just before it got too hot to workout side. We even beat the time I thought it would take to finish. Thank you for everyone's hard work and time. Oh the last picture of Sophia is where she had to spend the night at Grandma and Grandpa Cruz's house. She was one tired puppy when she got home.

Nesting

Well we have offically started "nesting" we have started the design of the baby's bedroom and bought two pieces of furniture in the past two days. I have officially ban Josh from Craigslist at least until next month! :) Although I have to say I am very thankful. We got a dresser that will be used for our changing table yesterday. Today Josh emailed me to tell me that he found a chair for the babies room. I thought yeah okay. However, I should have known that my dear husband was on the hunt. You see every time we go to Babies R Us I make sure to sit and relax in a specific chair and talk about how one day I really wanted one. Well thanks to my hubby's savvy shopping we got the chair today! Now I can at least feel a little more excited about those 2 am feedings! I have a great husband who I am sure is going to make a great dad!

Fence Day Part 2 with Rain Delay

So the fence is on its way to being put up. The planks were easier than putting posts in the ground. Work started at about 6:30am and went on to about 1:30pm with a 45 min. lunch. The lunch I have to say was great. My wife is a great cook. I was hoping that we could finish the planks but some reason it had to rain, and the rain would not stop for rest of the day. So to be continued in part three of the fence soon to come at the end of July. Maybe we will have better weather. Baby Cruz's Nursery

Well we have finally started on the nursery! Thanks to Mama, Daddy, and Josh the water is ready for me to add marine life. We are excited about this project! After painting so many murals for other people it will be fun to paint a room for our little one! Here is the nursery before and here it is after the water was added.
